The Nautiscaphe company was created in France in 2007 to bring attention to the underwater environment. With this in mind, Nautiscaphe has worked to produce a totally ecological anchoring system. Aware that protecting the environment is not enough in itself, Nautiscaphe has been able to integrate both safety and the proper economic dimension into the realisation of its projects.
Nautiscaphe has so far developed more than 200 projects on 3 continents. Today a specialist in environmental and safety anchoring systems in France, Nautiscaphe offers innovative anchoring solutions and dock supplies that respect the seabed.
Screw anchor "Ellipse"
Nautiscaphe is distinguished by an innovative patented screw anchor, the Ellipse®. The particular shape of its blade associated with a specific steel alloy with shape memory provides a breakout coefficient and a much higher mechanical strength than other similar anchorage systems.
The ellipses provide a far higher stress resistance level than concrete blocks and eliminate any risk of slippage.
Each ellipse is treated against corrosion in accordance with galvanising standards NF in ISO 1461 and 14713.
Used in particular for moorings, it completely eliminates chain raking and thus preserves dozens of square metres of marine flora.
The carbon footprint of this type of anchorage is positive: in the context of a marina, the emission of CO2 is 18 times lower than that of an equivalent installation in a concrete dead centre (source: CNRS study) with 53 T of emission for concrete and 3 T for Ellipse® Nautiscaphe.
WHY CHOOSE THE NAUTISCAPHE SCREW ANCHOR::
- SAFETY: Leak tests guarantee anchor resistance and the materials are of European origin;
- ENVIRONMENT: respect and conservation of the seabed;
- PRICE: quick and easy installation, prompt delivery materials and logistics and transport costs.
